About The St John's University

St. John's University whose main Campus is located at Buloba 17 Miles from Kampala, the Capital of Uganda, on the Kampala-Mityana road, was started in October 1999 with 84 students and two academic Departments, namely the Institute of Ethics and Development Studies and the Faculty of Business Administration and Management.

To date, the total enrolment of students is approximately 5000, of whom about 1193 are full-time residents on campus, while the rest are following distance-learning programmes and part-time programmes at the University Students of st.jcu come from all over the world. Freshers Party

Coming forth the freshers ball party for all students on 25th July.Companies who are willing to sponsor can come and contact the administration so as to get permission to display their products and services for students.

Pedagogical Training for Lecturers of Graduate Students

The Quality Assurance Directorate (QAD) has organised a Pedagogical Training for Lecturers of Graduate Students slated to take place from Monday 15th to Friday 19th July 2013 at Food Science Conference hall. The training runs from 9:00AM-5:00PM each day.

All those nominated to undergo that training in CHUSS, CAES, CONAS and the School of Law are reminded to attend.
